Skills Attraction Marketing Campaign
Priority One is currently reviewing existing skills attraction programmes to ensure that they are effective and align with the needs of key sectors and forecasts. An integrated and targeted approach will be developed to promoting the sub-region to skilled people nationally, and through appropriate job fairs and social media internationally. The campaign will draw on the ‘Our Place to Shine’ vision statement and will link to ‘The Tauranga Business Case’ business attraction campaign. The Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment is a key partner in this initiative, particularly in the attraction of skilled migrants.
