Western Bay of Plenty ICT Cluster

The information and communications technology sector is a key enabler and driver of productivity as well as creating high value revenue opportunities in its own right.  Priority One established the Western Bay of Plenty ICT Cluster in 2003 to bring together businesses that are keen to create commercial opportunities and contribute their experience and expertise to the development of an IT rich region.  The cluster now has over 600 members from around 280 ICT and related businesses.  A number of niche software houses have developed products to support the sub-region’s key sectors of horticulture and transportation, distribution and logistics, and several manufacturers have entered the export market in the last three years.  For further information, or if you would like to join this group (there is no membership fee!), email annie@priorityone.co.nz.
