How do you justify investment in innovation to prepare your business for an unknown future? The University of Waikato is hosting a workshop where cutting-edge approaches to business decision making under uncertainty will be presented. There will also be an opportunity to explore the potential for a new research programme focused on developing new tools for business. Workshop facilitator, Professor Tim Coltman, says “We have heard from businesses across the region that they are looking for better tools to make decisions when faced with high uncertainty and change. But there really isn’t anything robust around. So we see there is a great opportunity for companies to learn from each other and for the university to develop a research programme that can enhance business competitiveness by enabling better decisions.” This breakfast event will take place from 7.30am until 9.30am on Friday 19 July at the University of Waikato’s new campus in Durham St. It is free to attend, but registrations to firstname.lastname@example.org are essential.
