BWN Conference to celebrate forging your own path

The Tauranga Chamber of Commerce Business Women’s Network is hosting the biennial Business Women’s Conference this year, with the theme “Forging your own path is about breaking the mould”.  Supported by Craigs Investment Partners and Cooney Lees Morgan, the focus will be on success taking a different form for everyone and that to make our dreams and aspirations possible, we sometimes have to make uncomfortable choices and take risks.  Speakers include Lisa King, social entrepreneur and founder of Eat my Lunch, Dr Farah Palmer, lecturer and former captain of the Black Ferns, Sandra Clair, founder of Artemis, Tonia Cawood, chair of the Chiefs, and entrepreneurs Teresa Hodges, founder of Blak, and Rebecca Anderson, founder of Chaos & Harmony.  The conference opens at an evening event on Friday 17 May and continues through until 5pm on Saturday 18 May.  It is being held at Trinity Wharf on Dive Cr, Tauranga and tickets cost from $250 per person.  Click here for further information and to register.

Technology for Smarter Business Expo

Bay of Plenty business people will have the opportunity to discover the latest innovative technology solutions that could transform their business and underpin its growth at the 2019 Technology for Smarter Business Expo.  Being held from 12pm until 5pm on Tuesday 21 May at Baycourt in Tauranga’s city centre, this free expo provides a ‘one stop shop’ for business people to discover new technology that can reduce overheads, increase productivity, lift company profiles and help build staff knowledge.  The expo is being hosted by Priority One with support from Baycourt.  If you would like to take exhibition space, email annie@priorityone.co.nz.

TEDx Tauranga 2019
