Kia ora,

This month sees the opportunity for feedback on the options for Tauranga City Council’s Long-Term Plan amendment. You will all be aware that the city’s financial plan has changed substantially over the last year following the appointment of the commission. The LTP amendment addresses some important issues for business, increases investment in transport and seeks greater contribution from the commercial sector via an increase to rates. Planning for our city is important for business and we encourage you to take time in reviewing the proposed plans and provide feedback to council before April 26th. Priority One is also happy to present feedback on our members behalf. Have your say here.

Today also marks the official launch of our INSTEP Young Leaders’ Forum for 2022 – 33 students from 11 schools are selected as representatives for secondary schools across the Bay, acting as a voice for youth on local issues of importance as well as building future networks in the Bay.

Ngā mihi nui
