DayBreak Summit

Our inaugural two-day innovation summit will feature Tauranga's CBD as the stage for insights, inspiration and development opportunities across a fresh and surprising mix of plenary sessions, workshops, field trips and networking opportunities.

DayBreak Summit will deep-dive into a diverse range of innovation including science, technology, Mātauranga Māori, marketing, workplaces, project management, investment, entrepreneurship and creative arts and culture.

Programme

Co-designed and delivered by over 30 organisations from across the region, the programme reflects the breadth and diversity of innovation including (but not restricted to) technology, AI, creative industries, marketing, mātauranga māori, marine science and circular design.

Event Details

Set on the water’s edge of the Tauranga harbour, The Cargo Shed will be the festival hub during DayBreak Festival of Innovation. All plenary sessions and social functions during the summit will be hosted at The Cargo Shed. Breakout session venue information will be made available closer to the event.

Accessibility

The venue has good mobility access with ramp access and door widths to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Travel and Parking

We encourage festival attendees to utilise alternative modes of transport such as rideshare, carpooling or public transport. There is also a range of off-street parking and paid parking available along Dive Crescent and the surrounding streets.

Sustainability

As part of our commitment to reducing environmental impact, we have a worm farm on-site for composting food scraps. We kindly encourage you to bring your reusable coffee cups and water bottles to help minimise waste. Let's work together to make this event not only memorable but also environmentally friendly.
