SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY INVESTIGATIONS
Priority One and University of Waikato were in Europe in May to visit science and technology initiatives relevant to the development of a Tauranga research and technology campus. Discussions were also progressed around specific research collaborations in the area of internet search engine technologies and transport, logistics and supply chain. Priority One has been championing the development of a mixed use science and technology campus, which would include business incubation for high growth start-ups, as an area where industry, science and research co-exist to foster innovation and growth in the region’s key industries.
