BAY ECONOMY AT TWO YEAR HIGH
The Bay of Plenty experienced its largest economic lift in two years, according to a recent National Bank Regional Trends Survey. The Bay had the strongest national growth for dwelling approvals at 12% versus a national drop of 1.7%. In addition, employment increased by 1.7%, farm sales reached a two year high and sales of lifestyle blocks were the strongest for nearly a year.
