BROADBAND GUIDE RELEASED
The cross-council company, BoPLASS (Bay of Plenty Local Authority Shared Services Ltd) has developed a guide to help people get better broadband. It identifies technologies available and suggests ways to work with telecommunication providers to improve broadband services to businesses, schools and communities. Bay of Plenty Regional Council group manager technology and economic development, Miles McConway, says the guide is a work in progress as the environment is continually changing, both in terms of available technology and national decision making. The guide is available at www.envbop.govt.nz.
